The architectural office of Stoeppler + Stoeppler Architekten BDA Stadtplaner was founded by the brothers Arvid and Uldis Stoeppler in Hamburg in 1990. Today, the two partners work with a team of five to six architects and a varying number of interns and freelancers in the Hamburg team as well as for certain projects in a Berlin team.
Competitions, design projects, and realised buildings have included business and office buildings, production and training facilities, housing developments, villas and small-scale residences, artists' homes and studios, restoration and conservation of listed buildings, a great variety of renovations of and additions to existing buildings, interior design and private gardens as well as urban planning and design.
Stoeppler + Stoeppler Architekten BDA Stadtplaner has unique experience in the conception and implementation of energy-saving constructions, integrating the development of energy-optimizing planning and realization approaches. This experience, combined with seasoned, skilled and innovatively thinking engineers and expert planers, allows successful implementation of the related technical areas. From the very beginning all aspects of the client's wishes and requirements for the building's use are integrated into concept development and planning.
